Who controls your data

Visitor statistics

When you open a public portfolio page, the server uses your IP address to create a keyed, one-way identifier. The raw IP address is not stored by this application. For a first visit, the IP address is sent to IPLocate to obtain an approximate city, region and country. The stored record contains the identifier, approximate location, and first and last visit times.

The purpose is to understand the portfolio's approximate audience and keep the site reliable. The legal basis is legitimate interests under GDPR Article 6(1)(f). Records expire 30 days after the last visit. You may object to this processing.

Storage and cookies

The public portfolio does not set cookies. The desktop demo uses local storage only to remember its window layout.

Service providers

Hosting and database providers process the technical data needed to serve and secure the site. IPLocate receives an IP address for approximate geolocation. On the homepage, GitHub and the unpkg content-delivery network receive normal connection data when their public activity resources load. These providers may process data outside the EEA using their applicable data-transfer safeguards.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, erasure or restriction, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and complain to the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH). Some requests may require enough information to verify that the record belongs to you.
